Current projects
I have been approached by the Ukrainian Volya Choir of Bexhill-on-Sea to work with them to capture their stories in words and portraits, and compile them into a book. It's early days, and it will be a privilege to work pro-bono with them.
We start in earnest at the end of July (24). I'll post updates (and maybe portraits - with permission) as we go along.
Update November 24
The portraits of the choir have nearly finished, the first draft of the book layout has been approved, and the cover is being finessed with artwork from one of the girls in the choir, who happens to be a very talented artist.
I am now arranging to capture the stories of the choir, so that we have a complete portrait. That is going to take some time to get right, but based on how things are going, the book could be ready for its first proof printing around the end of December.
All things being equal the book will be ready for sale in the Spring of 2025 at Volya Choir concerts and online, so watch this space, or the Facebook page for updates.
All profits from book sales will go to supporting the Volya Choir to support those defending Ukraine.
